First Shave with Maggards V3A

Hello Folks, I recently purchased the Maggard's V3A head, with the MR11 handle. Last night I gave it a whirl. I loaded a fresh Personna Med Prep blade (another first for me) and gave it go.

Now mind you, I'm a rank beginner at this stuff ( about a month into DE shaving), so my small review may not be the best. But I figured that for all the info that I found on these forums, I have to give back something

Here's my new found friend and last night's accomplices .... Stirling Ozark soap, Maggard's 24mm synthetic brush.

This shave was fantastic. This has been the closest I've been to BBS since I started. No nicks, no weepers, no irritation... just pure enjoyment. The Med Prep blade also played a big part in this enjoyable bliss. This blade will definitely be added to my buy list... along with the Feather, Kai and Gillette Nacet

As for the razor, I'm amazed at the quality of head and at the cost. Paired up with the MR11 handle, this is truly a bargain for this gem.
