American Gillette Aristocrat from the 1930s

I recently acquired a lovely Gillette "Aristocrat," in which I believe is possibly from 1936 (based on what I was told).

The safety razor itself is in fantastic shape. Very little wear and tear from what I can see, and the case it is encased in is also nearly flawless. There are some original "blue blades" that appear unopened, and I'll leave them as-is. I don't attempt to shave with them anytime soon. An original leather case is also included with the set.

Last night, I shaved with the safety razor for the first time and didn't have any issues. The weight and performance felt great. I usually prefer the heavy feel on my face, so the safety razor did its job.
