I have switched over to tubes of cream, my favorite creams are from Geo F Trumpers and Truefitt & Hill
I have a decent sized rotation and with the tubs, the creams can dry out over time (still usable, but on their way to croap texture). Also, the tubes are more medicine cabinet friendly thanks to their slim vertical design.
Plus, it is very easy to place that dab of cream onto the top of the brush and start lathering away.
