Frank Kelly, who played Father Jack on one of my favourite tv shows, "Father Ted", passed away at the age of 77...eighteen years to the day the lead actor Dermot Morgan died.
Kelly's Father Jack was possibly the easiest character to play, as Jack's dialogue pretty much consisted of three words. Common decency prohibits me from listing them.
A fine actor and a surprisingly good singer, Kelly will be missed. Tonight I'll raise a glass of Toilet Duck to his memory while watching my "Father Ted" dvd's.
