My brother turned me on to the AOS Sandalwood, the stuff made by Valobra. Every time I use it I am impressed. I have other soaps that give a better post shave (Strop Shoppe SE, for example, the best I have in that department), but in terms of absolute performance the AOS is the best I have. I have not tried the other Valobra hard soaps - Valobra and Czech & Speake - but I imagine they are just as good since they have the same formulation.
For reference, I have Cella, Arko, Strop Shoppe SE, Catie's Bubbles, Mystic Waters, Palmolive stick, Proraso, Barrister & Mann, LASS, Maggard, Mike's, Stirling, and Razorock (vegan and tallow). Granted, more than a couple of these are just samples, and I might like them more if I had a full tub that made loading easier. And the Stirling I have only used once (just got some samples) and I likely did not load enough soap. Yet again, every time I use the AOS I think, Wow, this is really nice soap. And I like the scent to boot.
Does it get any better than this?
