Why are people afraid to say that they bought something on eBay? Or tell someone they can find something on eBay?
Is eBay a dirty word?
I understand we have site rules that say you can't link to active auctions, and that Buy It Now links are still fine to post, but it seems like folks don't even want to say the word eBay, and I don't understand why.
Some folks shortened it to The Bay..... then I see folks referring to it as Flea Bay.... then just recently I heard someone calling it The Flea Market. I didn't even know what they were talking about. And I wasn't the only one, because someone else asked them what the Flea Market was.
I just don't understand why folks seem to be afraid to use the word eBay.
