So what kind of routine did you guys have before trying traditional wet shaving?
I personally used the green Barbasol with a Schick Hydro 5. Wasn't really into the the gels.
The Schick Hydro razors had gooey Lube strips, that it probably complemented cheap canned stuff. When I started using lathered-on soap, I would flip the top and use the Hydro without its strip.
