I wish to express Sincere Gratitude for the many threads that have been so helpful to me in last 3 months. I started my DE Wet Shaving with an EJ89.
Then read, and read more. Forums, Compendium, Gillette Handbook. And bought razors. Then more razors. ( I now understand the acronym RAD!!)
Now own about 40, and have shaved with most of them. Old Type, New Improved, Open combs, Super Speeds in all colours, Adjustables ( including a Birth Year Fatboy), 1947 Aristocrat, British Aristocrat #16's , Techs, Ranger Tech, plus the Single Edge Gems ( including the Open Comb Micromatic), Ever Ready, Star, Lather Catchers, Schick Krona and E Injector, plus a Quartet of different Valet Autostrop models, complete with strange Feather blades.
And my nominee for Best (or Worst) name: the Weck Sextoblade.
ALL of which I learned about due to knowledgeable friendly posts from people who gladly share their enthusiasm about a fine historical enjoyable method of shaving.
My brother, son-in-law, several fine young men, couple of coworkers are now converts, due to my own enthusiasm, and knowledge gained through B&B.
