Bought this to try, and it surprised me. How, well . . .
Unless I'm really pressed for time, I like to let the lather sit for a minute or show before the first pass. Applied, went about my business, looked in the mirror, and was shocked by how much the lather dissipated.
Wondered if I hadn't shaken it up enough, so the next day I shook it up, applied, and had the same results. The lather just doesn't last.
For lather and immediately shaving, as I do for the 2nd pass, it lasted well enough. Probably wouldn't have noticed that it dissipated has I just lathered and shaved in the first place.
While the label on the side says "Compare to Gillette Foamy," and while the fragrance is very similar, IIRC Gillette Foamy lather lasts longer.
Other than that, the shave was about on par with what I remember from Gillette Foamy.
