The results are in...79 DE aficionados have weighed in with their all time, most favored DE blade. Here are the results:
1. Gillette Silver Blue - 18 votes
2. Feather - 10
3. Astra SP - 8
4. Personna Med Prep - 6
5. Polsilver SI and Personna Red tied - 5
6. Gillette 7 O'Clock yellow, Personna Lab blue & Nacet tied - 3
7. Gillette 7 O'Clock green, Gillette Platinum, & Voskhod tied - 2
All others - 1 vote (Gillette black, Rapira Sweedish super steel, Treet Black Beauty, Rapira Platinum lux, Perma Sharp Supers, Derby Extras, Wilkinson Sword, Sputnik, Gillette Swede, Gillette Rubie, Treet Classic)
Analysis: While the results speak for themselves, there is clearly a winner with GSB, taking top honors with 28% of the votes cast...a significant figure, statistically, in this simple poll.
Also interesting, is the diversity and number of "most favored" blades overall, reflecting no doubt the diversity of men represented here on B&B... with respondents from Israel, Australia, India, UK, and even New York (lol).
NOW: everyone don't go out and flood the markets with GSB orders (leave that to me).
