I just bought a slant as my second razor. My first was the Bluebeard's Revenge, and it was quite mild. I skipped over the middle of the road slants and went straight to the ATT S2 and S1 models. I had my first shave today with the S2 and found it to be significantly more comfortable and efficient than my previous razor. It decapitates hairs with precision, and I find that I don't need to cover spots that I've previously went over with the blade (unlike with my Bluebeard's Revenge). I found that I was able to achieve a BBS shave in 2 passes with my new S2, and my skin looks better than ever.
I'm not quite sure if that answers your question, because it's quite difficult to be precise about what new experience this is offering me. To put it simply, I'm getting a noticeably better and closer shave in less passes, which is much more comfortable overall.
