I'm fairly new to wet shaving and up until now I've been shaving with the Nivea Sensitive shaving cream. I got really good results in the beginning but now for some reason the cream is drying out really fast. I can't make a first pass without the cream drying. When I add a little water to it, it becomes very slick and wonderful again, unfortunately it never lasts very long. It doesn't dehydrate my skin, it's just the cream itself.
Has anyone had any experiences like this? Why would a cream dry up that quickly? (Especially Nivea Sensitive, which I always thought was a pretty decent cream) Or maybe tips to avoid it drying that quickly?
