hey guys, im new here
been shaving my face with a merkur 34c, taylor of old bond street cream and working my way through some sample blades. I have recently begun shaving my head for the past couple of months using the same setup and have a few questions
1)soap vs cream - i know it is discussed a lot but do people find they have different results when shaving their head? im thinking about getting some soaps to try and wouldn't mind some recommendations from other head shavers, i think i might get razo rock xxx
2)pre shave i normally apply alight amount of shampoo to my scalp and run a loofah pad gently over it (i always shave post shower at the sink), Any other pre head shave ideas?
3) post shave i have just been giving face and head a cold rinse and then applying tn dickinsonns witch hazel with cotton balls, however i still seem to get some acne/pink bumps but only on the back of my head? anyone else experience this?
4) im using a cheap as chips synthetic shaving brush which is starting to lose hairs and was thinking abut trading up, ive read that moving to a boar brush will be a significant improvement over what i have but wont break the bank. was thinking of getting an omega boar brush? any input welcome
