Do some shaving brushes make this hobby more expensive than others? I'm not talking about the cost of the brush itself, since that obviously varies. What I'm curious about it this: does a large, cavernous brush, such as an Omega 49 boar bush, cause you to have to use more product each time you shave in order to build a good lather? For example, because it is so large, does it swallow a lot more lather before it is so saturated that you have plenty of usable lather at the tip?
And would a smaller brush, which can't internally swallow up as much lather or product, allow you to use less product and save money?
