Hi I'm new to DE shaving but have been wet shaving for a very long time. My razor is a EJ DE89L and I have a tough dense beard. I've been using GF Trumper coconut oil cream which I like and works well for me.
I'm still using my sample pack of blades and here is what I think so far.
Derby are not very sharp and didn't work well for me
Astra sp is where I got one of my best shaves
Personna I likes and got a good shave
Gillette 7 o clock ss were very sharp and gave me a good shave
Polsilver were very sharp and gave a great shave too
Bic are in the same league as derby' not that sharp
Feather are the last blade in the pack which I'm looking forward to trying.
Anyone any other suggestions on blades for my beard type.
