So I packed up my omega s brush, a home made shave stick by pressing some Stirling frozen tundra into a empty shave stick and a cartridge 3 blade razor. I didn't want to lose my merkur as I was only taking a carry on so I figured why take the risk. So forward to my shave I prep up. Go to my fave with the stick and lather it up. Awesome lather. I go into the cartridge not expecting much but I must say. I really enjoyed the shave. It was smooth and no irritation. I must say it wasn't as smooth as a DE and i had to take one inch strokes because it would jam with lather but not as bad as I remember them. I did get a comfortable clean shave with it. I might not hesitate to take a cartridge for traveling. DE at home and the cart for travels. By the way I was using that 99 cent cartridge razor from online when they gave away the razors 99 cents shipped. I believe it was a limited offer and the razor is like 15 dollars now.
