I'm thinking about re-knotting a handle with a synthetic knot and saw that Whipped Dog has a line of synthetic knots available. The pictures look like the "old style" synths that TGN carries. I've tried the TGN and found the backbone to be too "springy" for my taste.
My question to anyone who has experienced both is, how does the Whipped Dog compare? Having loads of backbone seems popular around here, but I prefer a softer and milder lathering experience.
