Greetings all of my newly found brothers of the Bush and the Blade!
While I am a "Noob" here and in many ways, "Greener Than Green" to the art of Wet Shaving, I find myself as addicted to the art of the wet shave as the rest of the Badger & Blade membership!
If you don't mind, please just agree with me on this point.
Anyway, I got to thinking about how to draw more attention to the art of shaving we all share.
Granted that is scares the living "Stuff" out of my wife, family and friends when I start to think.
Here is my grand idea.
Have the owners and staff of the Badger & Blade forum commission some custom lapel pins (Tie Tacks would also be good) with the logo we all see at the top of the screen.
And good quality ones at that that the members can purchase or even win in a contest of some type.
I would imagine that many of the members here walk out of their house in the morning wearing a suit and tie along with a Barbershop Shave and every hair in place that screams "Good Grooming" to one and all!
Speaking only for myself, I proudly wear an American Flag pin as many of us do.
Many of us, also sport select civic group or organizational pins. For me, it is Sertoma.
While everyone knows what the American Flag pin means, from time to time, I get asked about my Sertoma pin and I get a chance to talk about the good works of this organization.
So why not a Badger & Blade pin ?
The graphics have already been designed and all that is needed is to have a lapel pin/tie tack produced and being made available to the B&B membership.
Once we have them, we proudly display them in public and when we are asked about the pin, we can explain to a willing audience (hey they asked) that we are a member of the forum and we can promote the wonders of a Barbershop Shave to them!
And invite them to join the forum as well.
Granted I am still a wet shaving "Noob" but even we Noobs have a good idea from time to time!
Hopefully someone in charge here will get wind of this idea and decide to run with it!
