So, my wife is going to start shaving with a DE razor on a consistent basis now; I've had her try my Muhle R89 with a Merkur razor, which she was pleased with.
That said, at anywhere from $1 to 50 cents a blade, I'm having a hard time getting more of the Merkurs for her to shave her legs with.
Anyone have any recommendations for a similar blade? I'm thinking maybe some Derbys or Sharks, but I've not tried them myself - I've only used the Merkurs and Astra SP Platinums (the latter of which I'm VERY happy with, but I know from experience that they're sharper than the Merkurs - so say the nicks on my head LOL).
So, has anyone got any recommendations? Ladies especially - please chime in on what you've found that you like; I know leg hair isn't usually as coarse as that on my face (which can range, from day to day, from BBS to heavy duty Velcro) and I'd like to get something that isn't going to empty our bank account if I order a box of them...I mean, if a box of 100 costs as much as my Muhle, I don't think it's all that economical...
