hi all,
i am new to this forum and into DE shaving, i got inspired wile i was in turkey where i see loads of derby blades and arco creams for a ridiculously cheap price and got home to see if it was worth a try to get into DE shaving and using turkish products that i could buy (derby extra's for 0,75 turkish lira, its about €0,25 !!!!!!! for 5 blades).
arco cream for 1,50 lira (€0,50), insane right?
so i did some research on what to buy, and i did see a lot of Merkur futur video's and i like this razor but after more research i did last few days i found it would probably best to get a Edwin Jagger DE89.
gonna load it up with Derby blades, got a bag full of them, BTW Astra blades are almost free here too!!!.
and going to use Arco soap, i have the bar and puck to try.
i hope this will get me started in this Art of shaving.
maybe what i just wrote is insanely noob'ish but this is what i had in mind.
will have my Edwin Jagger next week. so i have time to read :)
o yeah, why the EJ? well it seemed to me that is is a very mild razor and the merkur HD or futur is a bit more aggressive right?
at the end i will still end up with those other razors anyway.
any suggestions are welcome.
