Clubman suddenly gone bad.or is it me?

So, I have always loved the scent and feel of Pinaud Clubman. It is a staple AS for me, and I usually splash it on twice a week at least.

However, something has changed. The bottle I have now has been perfectly fine, but the last two times I have applied it, the scent is just off-putting. It's not horrible, just different, muted, and musty.

The bottle hasn't left my bathroom since it was purchased, but is it possible something caused this bottle to turn bad? Or is it maybe something going on with my nose that just has me turned off to the scent right now?

Anyone else experienced this with Clubman?
