Worth Repairing?

Gentle Men and Gentle Ladies ... Greetings:

Just this past weekend a very kind gentlman gifted me with three pens, one of which (Esterbrook "J") I will certainly repair. My concern surrounds the following two items: (Sorry, my photo skills are nil)

1. "Collegian" Fountain Pen: I can find no information as to who or when this pen was produced. It is a lever fill (sac is shot), Nib engraving: "Warrented, 14K, 2." Barrell embossing: "Collegian", Made In USA.

2. W.A. Shaeffer 350 Vac-Fil: From what I can gleen from my weak googlefoo efforts is that this "appears" to be a very early 1920's - pre-White Dot era (1920-1923). The plunger system is so badly corroded that is now resembles a rusty tooth pick. Nib engraving: "Shaeffer's, 3, Made in USA." Barrell embossing: W.A. Shaeffer Co., Ft. Madison, Iowa USA, Patented in USA, 350

Both pen's are in fairly good shape, cap clip (Collegian) is strudy, and embossing on the barrels of both are readable.

Will it be worth the expense to have the "Collegian" and the "350" refurbished? I have no desire to sell any of these pens, I am thrifty however. If expense is too great for me at this time, they will certainly make excellent Dip Pens.

"The Colbalt Blue Esterbrook "J" came with a broken tine (2668 nib), the sac held water, but will be replaced as well. I'm thinking Richard Binder).

Thoughts???
