I've read various benefits to using a stand up desk such as being more productive and you burn more calories standing. Long before this was a thing I would always choose to stand at the desk at my job as opposed to sitting. It was just more comfortable for me, I would push the chair out of the way every chance I got.
Well I've been wanting a stand up desk at home and the models I'm interested in cost close to $1,000 or more.
These are a few I've been eying

Very likely will have to wait until tax return on those.
But in the mean time I found something that will do the job. We updated some fixtures at work and were tossing this out. I brought it home and so far it's working quite well. Although crude, it does the job.
Two 23" monitors barely fit. One looks smaller but it's just an older model. The bottom of the cabinet has a locking door and is just empty space for storage.
So I'm curious if anyone else here is standing at their desk?
If so what have you got? Pics would be welcome.
