I was thinking (dangerous I know) about this earlier...
My current shaving routine is the following:
1) Hot shower and then NOT toweling off face afterwards.
2) Apply a Pre-Shave Oil
3) Build and apply lather
4) 3 pass shave (WTG, XTG & ATG) with reapplication of lather between passes
5) Hot water rinse
6) Alum Block pass with cold water
7) Cold water rinse
8) Towel dry and apply aftershave
So here is my question:
This routine seems to work really well for me with very few nicks and no irritation, but is there a need or benefit to reapplying PSO between passes? My thinking is that the 1st pass is removing most of the PSO and therefore it isn't helping much (if at all) with the 2nd and 3rd passes.
What are others doing? Anyone reapply?
