A little delayed, so my apologies.
Being over here in Austria it can be hard to find some of the things that you chaps over the pond have such easy access to. Well, it's not easy to get it without paying a hefty premium!
I asked TimS if he would be so kind as to bring one of these $10 boar brushes that are so raved about with him next time he is in the neighborhood. What he said he would do was even better.......
......a little while later and the LOTH told me that a wee package had arrived. When I got home I opened it up to find this fine example inside

It's certainly different in use than my Best badger, I am looking forward to getting used to using it. From the use I did have I can see it is a great brush! I can also see why people with boar brushes have multiple brushes in rotation - boar takes much longer than badger to dry out again.
So, raise a glass or tip your hat to Tim. Thanks for your generosity.
