Shaving Brush, new or restored?

I was wondering how many people would rather use a new brush or a new like restored brush. Every brush I have (4) is an older low end brush, Two ever ready and two white brushes with the word Sterling on the bottoms on a paper type label. All four of these brushes do the job for me, however, I am looking to either upgrade or find some more older brushes to restore with fairly good knots. To be honest I lean more towards the well kept older brushes because it makes me wonder about these brushes and did they give somebody else years of pleasure.



Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.
