So just as a reminder, I had originally ordered a Shavemac Americana in D01 grade and unfortunately it had a very bad tilt from the manufacture. Bernd was great and he gave me a replacement Americana with a D01 2-Band upgrade at no additional cost.
What I didn't post was that after 3 shaves, the top wood rim of the replacement American cracked (see picture). Unfortunately I had to go back to Bernd and explain what happened.
Again Bernd was great. He told me to send this brush back and he explained that the crack, unfortunately was an occurrence that this model was experiencing every so often. Bernd offered to again replace the brush but I expressed some concern about the crack possibly happening again.
Bernd offered me a different approach/solution which I accepted. He refunded me both shipping costs that I incurred with the returns and as a replacement he gave me:
