I have now been shaving my head six days a week for two months. I've discovered that while head shaving has a lot of similarities to face shaving, I think one area where it is very different is in what blades work best. I understand that even among face shavers, the choice of blade is very personal and what gives one guy a BBS can tear another guy's face to shreds. But I'd like to hear from the head shavers out there, what's your blade of choice?
When I get a handful of replies or more, I'm going to order a small box of each and try them all! I was recommended Feathers by a barber, and they seemed great at first, but the second shave on one blade seems noticeably duller than the first, and it seems to take a lot of work (WTG, XTG, ATG, extensive clean-up phase) to get a BBS on the first shave. On the second shave I have to settle for an imperfect shave or spend way too much time and end up with a bit of burn.
The first five unique responses will get a PM from me and I will send you a five pack of your favorite blade! If you recommend more than one your post won't count.
Thanks everybody!
*edit: feel free to recommend feather if it really is your fave.
