Woke up this morning, when into the kitchen, filled the coffee pot with water. Then I notice I was standing in a pool of water. I said, "what the..." So, I looked in the cabinet under the sink and it was wet with water. Great, just what I needed this morning. It seems my garbage disposal sprung a leak somewhere inside the unit and was dripping water from the underside. Went to check my paper work for the warranty...couldn't find it. So, I took down the serial number and entered it into the Emerson website under Badger Disposal. The warranty was for 3 years. Not bad really, but I bought and installed it in 2008. So, I'm off to Home Depot. I found the same model(only difference was 1/2hp vs. 3/4hp) and bought it. All dimensions where the same so there was very little fussing with the dishwasher drain line and the sink drain. I had it installed in about one and half hours. Works like a charm. I guess I'm a half decent handyman. :w00t:
P.S. On a side note. The last time I install a garbage disposal in 2008 I caulked the inside perimeter of the cabinet. So there was no water damage. :biggrin1:
