Not sure if this is the best place for this, also posted it in the Newbie Section. Got my first three razors cleaned up and now I need to get them shave ready. A Beau Brummel Wedge, KC Seelbach Buddy Jr. and a Worcester Razor Co.
Looking for someone interested in honing to shave ready. Please PM me, or reply here and I can contact you. I'm in Georgia, US. Thanks ahead of time. I've seen some recommendations in a few of the sub forums, but wanted to put this out there for anyone particularly interested, had some time in the coming week, etc. Oh, and I'm not looking for free either, I'm Just eager to get shaving. Now why I couldn't I go the smart route and buy a shave ready razor? What can I say, I like fiddling with stuff and could not pass the chance to clean up a few auction site finds that appealed to me, for no good reason.
All the edges appear in reasonably good shape with no notable chips or cracks, from my novice inspection. The Worcester is in the best condition edge wise, cleanly took hair off my arm, but not ready for the task of beard reduction. Happy to PayPal. Mods, if this post would be better elsewhere, please move it accordingly.
Here they are after some time on the buffing wheel with progressive compounds.
