Questions for any who may have repurposed an antique for shaving purposes. What all have you used? A chamber pot is out of the question. :blink: I know what those things were. Also an antique mortar and pestle scares me. Saw some very nice old brass ones at a place but they had residue at the bottom. What did the grind in late 19th to early 20th century? Brushing opium, digitalis, aspirin, and Thorazine into my face sounds unsound. What have you guys found and had success with?
i am always looking for a nice Old Spice mug. But those are rare and usually beat up or over priced. No such thing as a big coffee mug back then. That was more of a 1980-1990's thing. Thought?
