Well, I was hoping to find some information on this razor head design, but no luck yet. I recently acquired two razors, an all metal Gemka and a plastic handled Merkur with this head (both pictured) , but I have also seen the same head design on an all metal Mulcuto razor. The baseplate and cap each have a unique shape and both have a reference mark to aid in proper assembly. The underside of the baseplate has "D.R.P." and "Solingen" cast into it, and the cap is peaked on its high side. The head design is aggressive and functions wonderfully, giving great results. I'd like to know which company actually produced the design (I suspect it was Merkur).
