Making abundantly clear from the outset that I have absolutely no (a.k.a., zero, nil, nada, zip, zilch) interest in:
a) selling this brush, and/or
b) anything but another brush.
Quite simply, I'm keen to hear from another Australian member wanting to try a Duke 2 in Best and who has an equivalent but different brush to trade (monies can plus up either way as agreed).
I absolutely love this brush - the Duke 2 is phenomenal. Great feel, well-balanced softness and backbone, top latherer with nice flow-through. Top shelf face latherer.
I have both the Duke 2 and the Classic 2. They are very similar brushes, and I don't have a clear preference between them except that the Classic's a little plumper around the midriff but mainly because I've already taken photos of the Duke...and I can't quite be bothered setting up the Classic for a shoot at this stage.
The Duke on offer was bought new from the Shaver Hut and has not shed a single hair in over 20 shaves. Comes in the original box with papers.
I'm keen to experience something a little different. Not sure what exactly but I do know it has to be a badger and of the quality of (or better, if that is possible ) a Simpsons Best - thinking something of repute like M&F, Rooney, Shavemac, Thater, etc. Also something with decent backbone and softness - as I simply can't stand floppy!
Not expecting to be flooded with replies - and not too stressed as I'm happy to keep both (as the intent in buying the Classic was to have a brush of my liking while the Duke dried).
But, who knows, there might be one among our Oz ranks interested and with something interesting...
