I had to go up to my wife's office the other day, and mentioned to her that I was trading razor blades with someone through the BST (Hi Chris!). She gave me a weird look, and I explained the rough details of the trade, and her boss overheard me. He asked me what I was talking about, and I mentioned that I was trading safety razor blades over the internet.
He got curious, asking me if safety razors were the old-fashioned ones that used individual razor blades, etc, and I answered yes. They worked much better than cartridges, they are easier to recycle, and they are much, much cheaper. He was interested in that last bit, so I explained that a good blade could cost anywhere from fifteen cents, all the way up to the king's ransom of fifty cents. He asked if I had a pack of blades, which I did, and he was going to have his family mail him three safety razors from his dad and grandfather (the lucky so-and-so).
He was also interested in quality creams and soaps, but he did mention that he used a cream. I wasn't able to get the brand name from him, but I sent him links to WCS, and he told me the other day that he was ordering a tub of TOBS Avocado Cream. I hope he's getting a brush with it, but if he's not I have a couple of spares I can PIF him.
Which reminds me, I need to order another TGN knot for a restore....
