I'm sure many others have posed the same or a similar question to mine, but I couldn't find any threads that answered me after a few quick searches, so here I am. My apologies in advance.
I've been DE shaving for a couple years now and a curious itch is pulling me towards SLOWLY getting into SE shaving. I want to begin inexpensively and have been looking around at razors. At this time, I don't want to dive in to honing and stropping, so I think a disposable-blade SE would be best for me.
I'm looking for the bread-and-butter, inexpensive, everyone-gets-one-when-they-start-out razor. The DE89 or 34C of straights. It's looking like it's the Parker SR1. Feathers and Kais are way too expensive, and every review of Dovos I've read seem to say that the things don't hold the blades securely. $17.00 for a well-reviewed razor seems like a no-brainer for someone like me who wants to start out seeing what all the hubbub is about with SE shaving, which I am excited about and a little scared. But I assume that's natural.
Would you gents agree on the SR1? Or are there other ones I haven't checked out yet that I should? Thanks in advance!

How do the SE blades made for the Feather Artist Club razors compare to the Feather yellow DE blades? For me, one major drawback to the Feather shavette-style razor is that it only takes four kinds of blades. But I do use and love the Feathers for my safety razors, so if they're similar, that might be good for me.
