I aquired a Old Spice mug and needed some soap for it. I have about 10 pucks of Van Der Hagen deluxe soap on hand that I picked up for a buck each. I don't really care for it all that much, though. Anyway, I put a puck in the mug and microwaved it till it melted, added a liberal splash of Old Spice, and added about a teaspoon of glycerin. I put it in the freezer to speed up turning back solid. In about 30 minutes , it was a nice solid puck that was formed to the bottom of the mug. I gave it a try. It made much better lather than after the glycerin and smelled great to boot.
