Not as comprehensive as some of the restorations in this subforum, but my first ;) (and not last..) I bought a shaving chest with a nice brush&razor stand in it. It was a nice set but the brush was beyond use, but I really wanted to use the brush / set. Then I ran into this subforum and figured it would be doable to reknot it; a great first project. Pity I don't have a picture of the initial state, but I'm happy with the end result. Your experiences made it easy, fun and addictive :)

In with the new (20mm finest badger)
