I'm just checking in. The way I got started was I got tired of all the irritation I would get from using a Gillette Fusion and loathed shaving. I realized my Grandfather always had an amazing shave with no irritation and seemed to enjoy the "chore". So, like any curious grandson I asked him how he shaved, how I wish I asked this question when I was a teen and not in my 30's. It is such an amazing difference between the Fusion and the Gillette Tech my Grandfather gave me and my skin feels so much nicer and the fiancee loves the scents of the soaps and aftershaves not to mention how smooth my face is now.
