I have a long and short comb New, I'm going to have plated to go into my rotation.
If memory serves correct there was a post that discussed inserting lead shot inside the handles to weight the bottom of the handle and give the razors better balance.
The short comb and more so the long are head heavy, which I find awkward to use. They just don't 'come to hand' well, despite having a acceptable head.
I'm considering melting some solder into the base of the handles to give that neutral or handle heavy heft, rather than just fill the whole handle with lead
The Gold Tech (top of shot) also suffers from the similar head heavy feel. I'm limited to gluing in some shot on this razor as it's NOS and pristine with the Gillette insignia etched on the cap. Couldn't bear to apply heat to this one:001_unsur
Really like some feedback from someone who has performed surgery on these models regarding glue types and success/failures.
