Good morning gents just thought I would get right to it so here it is:
PREP: Hot shower
Soap: Poraso eucalyptus cream
Brush:Old oridginal velux badger
Razor: Hart 6/8 square pt.
So I wet my face and put an almond sized amount of cream in the bowl with a few drops of water and started building lather adding a few more drops ofwater as I went along. A couple of min. and I had what I think was a pretty good lather, perhaps a little dry looking back. I lathered up and grabbed the razor. I have a stash & goatee so a bit to shave around. The w/t/g passes went well, the razor shaved beautifully on my cheek areas. Then I transitioned to the neck area where my toughest beard grows. The shave was going well, both of my hands seemed to work, a little harder to get the best angle with my left hand but made it through all right. I was through my first pass and was still alive. The two areas on my neck were the only places that needed more attn. So I lathered up again, just my neck and gave it another pass. Got one weeper on the right side, razor felt good but looking back I think the lather at this point was lacking. I did not get a close shave in those two areas on my neck, I think an x/t/g or a/t/g pass might be needed. All in all a very good experience for me, I enjoyed it very much. Any suggestions on aftercare? I feel a slight amount of razor burn on my neck. Please feel free to make any comments or suggestions. Thank you all for all the help so far.
