Since I've gone back to DE shaving nearly two months ago, here are the blades I've tried in order of my preference:
Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow - close, comfortable shave, longevity (get 5 good shaves each), good price.
Wilkinson Sword Classic (German) & Astra SP (tied for second -both pretty much on par with the Gillette Yellows, but not good for as many shaves)
Derby (some tug, but otherwise reasonably comfortable)
Merkur (was surprisingly disappointed - had a lot of tug and was about as comfortable as my old Bic disposables with 3 shaves on them).
With these factors in mind, can those of you who also like the Yellows recommend some other blades to try?
