Well earlier this week SWMBO let me pick up some C.O. Bigelow. For only 5 bucks why not right? Well tonight I finally shaved with it.
It was my first shave in just over a week and I was anxious to see how it performed. My only cream experience has been with a GFT rose sample and AoS Ocean Kelp. So I pull out the tube, plop my snurdle onto the brush and away I go with my face lather. The cream lathered up very nicely and then I felt the menthol. Love it! After a hot shower and down here in SC the cooling effect was amazing. I wasn't sweating while shaving. Awesome!
I ended up only doing a 2 pass SAS since I don't have to go back to work until May 12 and am in the process of unpacking our house.
The cream compared to the AoS didn't seem quite as slick, but it did seem to have more cushion. So not bad at all. To anyone on the fence of this cream, grab it, well worth it and a great shave. And of course here is an obligatory lather shot after my last pass!uploadfromtaptalk1398564574796.jpg
