Afternoon gentlemen and possibly ladies. I just received my tin of "The Beach" by Synergy and RR. As with all Synergy soaps this is a HUGE puck of soap. First whiff and wham it's the beach. What a great scent this is. It's a very complex scent with many layers. I get a whiff of sun tan lotion but nothing obnoxious and then other things that are gone as soon as you reach for them. I can definitely associate this smell with an evening with the sun going down after a long day at the beach. That being said lets move on to the real heart of the matter, performance. I soaked the top of the puck and my brush and let it sit for a few minutes then went to work loading. It loaded very readily and created an extremely dense proto lather very quickly. Let me say this, this is one THIRSTY soap. I had to add quite a bit more water than I do with any of the other soaps in my rotation to get the lather to an acceptable level but it was superb once I got it there. Very slick creamy lather and the smell of it when lathered is even better. This one has just moved to the top spot in my seventeen soap rotation. I'll be using this one a LOT!
