I received my Merkur 34C HD razor yesterday. The quality seems to be top-notch but as this is my first razor I really have nothing to compare it to. Will be giving it a go this morning. While waiting for it arrive I did practice building a lather with my Simpson brush and the MWF soap.
I'm looking for a recommendation for blades. Nothing to aggressive. I looked at the sample packs from various merchants but didn't like the idea of having to many variables in my learning process. So what would be the suggested blade for me?
