I just picked up my first bottle of this earlier in the week. Very surprised. I've had Jack Daniels occassionally, and find it to be a bit harsh. GD is very smooth, with a nice burn when swallowed. I've only tried it neat thus far, but really enjoyed it.
I was confused a little as there seemed to be 2 different labels for the 12 at my local liquor store. Anyone know anything on this? My guess is just an update has occurred. Also, I'd say my only complaint on this is the screw on cap. I had just finished a bottle of Eagle Rare, and the cork stopper has spoiled me there. :)
Anyway, anyone else here a fan of George Dickel 12 whisky? How do you prefer to enjoy it? Any favorite cocktails for this one?
