Deciding between two brushes.

I'm trying to find a new brush that will also be used for travel. I'm deciding between a Semogue 1305 and a Semogue 1438. I use creams most of the time, along with the occasional soap from Mama Bear, including Proraso White. I make my lather in my mug and let my brush apply it to my skin, if that helps any of you advise me. Also, if you have advice on how to pack it for travel, like with the Parker brush travel case or medicine bottle, please let me know that, too.
