My older brother is in trouble with his health. This has gotten me thinking about his step-dad...My Dad. He loved my father as if he were his own.
My Dad always used a Schick single blade...I think it was a G, but I always get so darned confused on those. I have more than a few G's. I use them for touch up, and I keep them around to remember my father.
So, this simple PIF is a Schick G, a gift from a co-worker...it cleaned up really well after Barbicide and Scrubbin' Bubbles. And a 7-pack of Schick blades. BTW, Amazon has an incredible deal right now...under $8 for 21 blades.
Tell me good things about your Dad. My father was a gentle, gentleman. He was an engineer. As a kid, under 5 years, I remember a cold winter night, holding his big hand with my little one, the wind was blowing hard, and he smelled like clean sweat, and cigarettes. We had gone out for "something" on Christmas Eve, and Santa had come whilst I was gone.
My dad always wore a brown fedora, work boots, and khaki's: shirt and pants, heavily starched...they still had the crease in the pants when he came home. He loved my mother.
CONUS and OUTUS.
I will choose the winner by random.com at the end of the PIF. Let's give it time for my return from visiting my brother, and before my next assignment, bodyguard to Michael Moorcock.
So, PIF ends Sunday, April 13, High Noon, thank you Mr. Gary Cooper.
