A few months ago, my son talked me into losing the cartridges and getting started wet shaving outside of the shower. I had an old Gillette DE but quickly fell for the straight razor lure and bit hard! Bought a couple of razors and we are learning the care and feeding of these delightful instruments! So many wonderful fragrances and conditioning products from which to choose! I like the challenge of honing, stropping and putting that great edge on my razors. This "first shave" with my son was a real treat for both of us! We are learning so much by reading your excellent posts and are glad to be a part of this fine community!
