I've been interested in changing up my shaving routine for a while. My beard is super heavy. Cartridge razor were costing me a fortune so I figured I'd give DE razors a try. I picked up a vintage Gillette adjustable slim and ordered up some shaving supplies. The razor finally got here today so I went ahead and cleaned it up and sterilized it. I must say, for a first go at it I think it went ok. I went with one pass with the grain and one pass across the grain. Still not perfectly smooth, but I figured as long as I didn't shred my face I was ahead of the game. I can see this becoming a slippery slope. I'm already looking for more vintage razors.
