I have both and EJ89 and a Gillette SS and both are fine razors, however, I find my hair growing back faster as I'm getting older. Once every 5 days is now once every 4 days. I usually shave once it's visible to not just me, so it's not peach fuzz, but not a wolverine either. Just coarse facial hair. I'm looking for something more aggressive than these razors that will allow me to cut without as many passes and tugging. I get quite a bit of tugging from the EJ now since I have started about a year and a half ago and the Gillette is nice, but I'm starting to get some tug on that as well. I thought it was my technique, but a good lather with Tabac and I still got some pain made me think about it.
I'm only familiar with EJ and Gillette but I'm willing to try out other brands.
